Widen bridges on State highway
The Vriddhachalam-Ulundurpet State Highway has eight narrow road bridges which makes driving on this highway dangerous. All these bridges are in the Cuddalore district. The State Highways Department needs to ensure that wider bridges are built to make travelling on this road safe.
Vehicles proceeding to Chennai from Vriddhachalam and vice versa need to pass through Ulundurpet Town through a circuitous route to reach the Tiruchi-Chennai Highway (NH-45). Constructing a diversion to Vriddhachalam on the National Highway- 45 will save a lot of time for the people from Vriddhachalam and at the same time reduce the traffic congestion in Ulundurpet Town.
Bring bar code for exams
Commencing from this year, each student appearing for secondary board exam whether Central or State, should be allotted a bar code. The bar code should be linked to the Aadhar card. This will prevent fake qualifications.
Further, while registering with employment exchange or opening a bank account or applying for passport or driving license or PAN card or buying railway ticket, etc, the authorities concerned should be able to access data from National Registry. Even the Death Certificate in course of time should be issued on the basis of bar code.
In other words, having an Aadhar card, there be should be a paperless documentary evidence of the citizen.
