Anti-Terrorism Day was observed to mark the 20th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri districts on Friday.

District Collector V. Arun Roy administered a pledge to government employees at the central hall of the Collectorate in Krishnagiri. Earlier, floral tributes were paid to the portrait of the leader on the Collectorate premises.

C. Prakasam, District Revenue Officer; Jeevarathinam, Personal Assistant to Collector (General) T. Manoharan; Public Relations Officer among others participated.

C. Maheshwari, Superintendent of Police, administered the anti-terrorism pledge to the police force at the District Police Office in Krishnagiri.

In Dharmapuri, District Collector R. Ananthakumar read out a pledge in the presence of District Revenue Officer and others at the Collectorate.

Employees from the government departments took the pledge.

Earlier, Mr. Ananthakumar paid floral tributes to the portrait of the former Prime Minister.
