The Advertising Club, Coimbatore, launched a public service message on road safety at a bus shelter at the Lawley Road – Thadagam Road junction on Saturday.Safe roads

Corporation Commissioner T.K. Ponnusamy inaugurated the message campaign, which was the first of the year-long activities. Mr. Ponnusamy commended the club and suggested that such messages must be taken in a larger manner to reach more drivers and make roads safe.

N. Krishnakumar, president of the Club, said that the ‘Friendly Five' message aims at communicating to the common man that rules are meant for common safety. R. Swaminathan, past president, said that increasing number of road accidents forced the Club to take up the project.
