PERAMBALUR: The Union Minister for Environment and Forest, A. Raja, has asked the district officials to send proposals for various projects to provide infrastructure and irrigational facility.

Speaking at an official meeting held here on Sunday, he asked them to send proposals for construction of integrated court complex, cotton research station, check dams across the Coleroon for prevention of floods and strengthening its banks to check inundation of villages during monsoon, milk chilling plant near Ariyalur and Combined drinking water scheme for Sendurai and Veppanthattai blocks.

The District Revenue Officer, V. Sampath was among those who were present.
