Tusha Mittal of ‘Tehelka' bagged the first prize for the best article on humanitarian issues/values in a competition organised by Press Institute of India (PII), Taramani, Chennai in association with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), New Delhi. The prize has a cash amount of Rs. 50,000.

Rahul Pandita of Open Media Network bagged the second prize of Rs.30,000. Chitrangada Choudhury of ‘The Hindustan Times' won the third prize and Smita Gupta of The Hindu the fourth prize in the contest.
