SALEM: Collector J. Chandrakumar distributed prizes to students who had been rescued from the clutches of child labour and who had been mainstreamed in regular schools, for scoring high marks in the higher secondary examinations, here recently.

Students

S. Kokila of Sarkkar Kollapatti Government HSS, scored 1,027 marks.

S. Divya, who studied in Neelambal Subramaniam HSS scored 1,025 marks, while E. Dineshkumar of Taramanagalam Sengunthar Mahajana HSS scored 1,012 marks.

A total of 21 students, who were rescued from the clutches of child labour, scored high marks in the examinations.

Of them four students scored over 100 marks.
