Coimbatore: Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore Rural District, N. Kannan, has announced that vehicles seized for use in offences will be auctioned at the Police Recruit School Grounds on January 7 at 10 a.m.

A release from Mr. Kannan said that the vehicles seized and to be auctioned would include four tanker trucks, ten trucks, 14 cars, five vans and seven two-wheelers.

These vehicles are parked at the respective police stations where they had been seized. Interested persons could inspect the vehicles.

Successful bidders would have to remit the entire money in full immediately after the auction with 4 per cent sales tax.
