Udhagamandalam: A breakthrough has been achieved in the case relating to the killing of an elephant at Singara near the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve recently, Superintendent of Police A.G. Babu said here on Tuesday. A gang of poachers had shot a 12-year-old male elephant about ten days ago. Talking to newspersons, Mr. Babu said police and Forest officials had zeroed in on two persons, belonging to Gudalur, who were believed to have masterminded the crime.
