COIMBATORE: About 32,000 candidates from 302 schools will appear for the Plus Two examinations beginning from March 1 to 21. Over 14,000 boys and 18,000 girls from government, corporation, aided, matriculation and Anglo-Indian schools will write in 85 centres, an official release said.

Tenth standard examinations for State Board, Matriculation and Anglo-Indian schools would start from March 21 and go on till April 4. Over 53, 000 students were expected to attend the examinations.

For smooth conduct of the examinations, a total of 2,772 persons had been drafted for examination duty at various centres.

A release from the Chief Educational Officer said the venue for private candidates had been shifted to Nanjappa Municipal Boys High School from Palaniammal Municipal Girls High School
