SIVAGANGA: The Government plans to construct 500 houses for refugees at a cost of Rs.5 crore, according to Special Commissioner and Commissioner for Rehabilitation R. Karpoorasundarapandian.

Gangaikondachozhapuram in Tirunelveli district has been selected for constructing 100 houses, while 200 houses will be constructed at Oothankarai in Krishnakiri district. One hundred houses each will be constructed at Erode and Nattarasankottai in Sivaganga district, he told reporters here on Saturday after visiting a refugee camp at Nattarasankottai.
