Physical fitness test for selection of constables held

Physical fitness test for selection of constables was held in Dharmapuri district on Friday.

The test is being conducted on the Armed Reserve Police grounds for the last three days.

Monitoring

Superintendent of Police Amitkumar Singh and Deputy Inspector General of Police K.N. Sathyamurthy from the office of the Director General of Police, Chennai, monitored the process.

About 800 candidates participated in the test.

As part of the test, the candidates’ ability in long jump, climbing the rope, high jump, 400 m and 100 m running was assessed.

On Friday, T.P. Sundaramoorthy, Inspector General of Police, West Zone, inspected the selection process.
