Pathology conference begins today

The Department of Pathology of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research will conduct three-day international conference on latest developments in pathology from Friday.

T.S. Ravikumar, Director, JIPMER, and Surendra Kumar Verma, organising secretary, told reporters here on Thursday that it was an Indo-U.S. International Continuous Medical Education conference in collaboration with the Association of Indian Pathologists in North America and Indian College of Pathologists.

Eminent speakers and scholars from the United State, Canada, Germany and various prestigious institutes from India would deliver lectures.

Topics for discussion during scientific sessions would range from cytology to molecular pathology covering various sub topics in the field such as cadiopathology, neuropathology, surgical pathology, hematology, tele digital pathology, endocrine pathology, renal and transplant pathology and others.
