Rs. 600 from Saravanan a farmer of Ketti for issuing a name transfer certificate. Saravanan had informed the vigilance authorities.

A trap was set and Rajappan was nabbed

by a team led by

Inspector Gerald Alexander while he was accepting the bribe.
