Youth Wing for Disability Services (YWDIS) is conducting a district-level oratorical competition on disability for school students. A release from the organisers says that the objective of the programme is to create awareness on the topic.
They will hold the competition in Tamil and English on November 30 at the Department of Social Work, Bharathiar University.

The organisers have said that the topic is ‘How will I improve myself in services for persons with disabilities’.
The venue is the Department of Social Work at the Bharathiar University campus.
They will distribute the prizes on December 3 on the occasion of the International Day of Disabled.
Rules of the competition: Each school is allowed to send only two students (one for English competition and another for Tamil), students in classes VI to XII are eligible to participate, participants should have a bono fide certificate from schools irrespective of their identity cards, each participant gets to speak for about five minutes, and the judges’ verdict will be final and binding.
