The police have not made any headway in the investigation of the drowning of nine-year-old Tejas. Though the Nelamangala police have booked a case against the school management and resort owners, no one has been arrested. The Nelamangala police told The Hindu here on Sunday that they had made some enquiries in the case, but confirmed that no arrests were made.

Tejas, a student of Mother Teresa School in Jalahalli, had gone with other children from the school for a picnic at the Residential Holiday Resort in Nelamangala on Saturday. Students found him floating face down as they left the pool for lunch. He was cremated on Sunday. The post-mortem was conducted in Nelamangala.
