The Vasan Eye Care Hospitals, a leading hospital chain in the country, has launched a new wing at its Erode hospital.

The new wing was established following an increase in the demand for eye care services in the region. The wing has state-of-the-art facility to cater to all eye care requirements. It has a capacity to handle 500 out-patients a day and 25 beds, a press release says.

Dr. NSK Swamy inaugurated the extend wing in the presence of Hospital medical director N.V. Govindarajan.

The new wing would help the hospital in treating the patients better and faster, Vasan Healthcare Group chairman A.M. Arun said in the press release.
