Rajasthani Sangh has thanked the Union Railway Minister for announcing the Coimbatore – Bikaner weekly AC express.

The sangh president, Ghisulal Hingar, and secretary Shantilal P. Saleecha, said that the train via Mangalore, would cover Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. A train service from this region to Rajasthan has been a demand for the last 12 years. The sangh said the frequency of the train should be increased.

The promise made in the two previous Railway Budgets for extending the Jodhpur – Bangalore Express up to Coimbatore had not been materialised, said K. Kathirmathiyon of Coimbatore Consumer Cause. Extension of the train would connect Coimbatore with Bangalore, he said.
