A new weekly superfast express between Tirunelveli and Dadar (Mumbai) via the Konkan Railway will be introduced on Wednesday.
Train No.22630 Tirunelveli-Dadar Express will be introduced from Tirunelveli on May 1. Train No.22629 Dadar-Tirunelveli Express will be introduced from Dadar on May 3.
The Dadar-Tirunelveli Express will leave Dadar at 8.40 a.m. on Fridays. It will reach Madurai at 12.35 a.m. on Sundays.
It will leave Madurai at 12.40 a.m. and reach Tirunelveli at 4 a.m.
The Tirunelveli-Dadar Express will leave Tirunelveli at 7.10 a.m. on Wednesdays. The train will reach Madurai at 9.50 a.m. and leave the station after a five-minute halt. It will reach Dadar at 3.10 p.m. on Thursdays.
The composition of the train will be one AC 2-tier, one AC 3-tier, six second class sleeper, six general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The train will stop at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavli, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Honnavar, Udupi, Mangalore Jn, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar and Kovilpatti.
