Coimbatore: Bharathiar University and Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS) Deemed University, will jointly organise the 7th National Conference on Solid State Ionics, from June 6 to 8.
A release said that speakers for the conference would come from Germany, Japan, Korea and Sri Lanka. Participants were expected from all over India. The Indian Society for Solid State Ionics, University Grants Commission (UGC), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (ICAR), had sponsored the event. Proceedings would be at Bharathiar University on June 6 and 8, and on the Karunya campus on June 7. S. Sivasubramanian, Vice-Chancellor, Bharathiar University, would inaugurate the proceedings on July 6 and P. K. Philip, Vice-Chancellor, KITS, would preside over the proceedings on the Karunya campus.
