Creative settings of dishes attract many connoisseurs

SALEM: Students of Cenneys Institute of Hotel Management celebrated their annual Food and Beverage Exhibition with myriad of culinary delights recently.

Students prepared over 200 varieties of mouth-watering Indian snacks, 100 fruit drinks, large number of savoury dishes and delicious creations this year. Besides Indian cuisine, the visitors also had the chance to taste the French, Italian and Greek cuisine. With their creativity and aesthetic abilities, students displayed the dishes in beautiful settings. Besides taste and hygiene, the presentation and artistic appearance of food were also very important, students said.

The exhibition also featured exquisite vegetable and fruit carvings. The ice, pumpkin and watermelon carvings had received appreciation from the visitors.

The highlight of the event was the display of huge verities of ethnic food.
