In a campus interview conducted in the Vocational Training Centre of the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve on Saturday 18 of the 50 trainees were selected by the Hinduja Global Solution (A corporate BPO of Ashok Leyland).

The Centre run by the MTR, Aide et Action, a non-governmental organisation and the Hemendra Kothari Foundation Wildlife Conservation Trust imparts training in Information Technology Enabled Services, Customer Relations and Retailing, spoken English and other soft skills. The objective of the vocational training programme which lasts about three months is employability enhancement. The beneficiaries are youth in the buffer zone of the MTR. Selected as call centre executives they will get Rs. 8, 000 plus other benefits, according to press release from Aide et Action.
