CHENNAI: Satellite Doppler radars, deployed to predict the intensity of natural disasters, will be installed in more than 55 places of the country, according to M. Shashidhar Reddy, Member of the National Disaster Management Authority. Now the radars had been put up on four sites, he said, inaugurating a training programme on disaster preparedness on Thursday.
