A 16-year-old boy has been missing since September 24 at Ombarabad. According to police, Mohammed Porkhan, a resident of Pooncholai Nagar, Kadaambur was studying in a residential school in Omarabad and had gone home on September 24, when his parents were leaving for Tiruvannamalai. He had wanted to go with them but they told him to return to school owing to examination. However, he did not return to school.

A case has been registered at the Omarabad police station on Sunday.

In another incident, Anaicut police have registered a case of girl missing on Sunday.

Twenty one-year-old Janaki, a resident of Appukal Colony had informed her father and had gone for tailoring class at Anaicut on September 29 but did not return home, according to police.
