Minister promises auditorium for Mannargudi college

Students should take full advantage of various facilities provided by the Chief Minister in the education front for building a strong base and a bright career, said R. Kamaraj, Food Minister. Speaking at a function to distribute free laptops to students of Mannargudi Rajagopalaswami Government Arts College here on Sunday, Mr. Kamaraj assured steps for the construction of an auditorium in the college.

Collector S. Natarajan underlined the role of students in building strong society towards development of mankind. The Minister distributed laptops, worth Rs.84 lakh, to 602 students and also education scholarship under social security scheme to 101 students, totalling Rs. 2.18 lakh. N. Jeevakani, District Revenue Officer, R. Ambikapathi, principal of the college, A. Jayalakshmi, Chairperson, District Panchayat Council, Sudha Anbuselvan, Municipal Chairperson, were present on the occasion.
