METTUR: Co-operative Minister Ko. Si. Mani on Thursday inspected the Stanley reservoir.

The Minister, accompanied by the PWD Executive Engineer, Subramanian, and other officials, visited the dam site, its right and left canals and the park.

He also sought details on the dam's water storage, inflow and other details. The Minister asked the officials whether the water storage in the dam was adequate for both kuruvai and samba cultivations in the delta region. The Minister had spent nearly two hours at the dam site and collected details concerning water storage and the reservoir's present level. MLA Veerapandi A. Raja accompanied him.

Later, he took part in the Co-operative Week function held in Salem.
