COIMBATORE: The Cotton Corporation of India will organise a meeting for cotton farmers at Dhayanur (Karamadai Block) on March 25.
A release from the corporation said that the meeting would focus on distribution of seeds and other inputs to farmers and educate them on cultivating cotton in a hassle-free manner. This programme would be held under the Mini Mission II of the Technology Mission on Cotton to encourage cotton cultivation and increase the area. RCH-20 BT (Sinidhi) seeds would be distributed to farmers, a release here has said.
Further, for every acre brought under the scheme, packets with critical inputs, worth Rs. 1,500, would be supplied free of cost.
