ERODE: Erode police are working on mapping sensitive booths, Additional Director General of Police T. Rajendran has said.

Talking to journalists after a review meeting with district police officials here on Tuesday, he said as part of the poll duty the police were mapping sensitive booths.

Adequate security would be provided, as the Central security force would supplement the district police, he said. The number of security persons would be known only later, as it depended on Centre’s allottment, he added.

As part of the poll preparations, the police were keeping a watch on bootleggers, anti-social elements and history sheeters.
