BANGALORE:Suspecting her fidelity, a man allegedly stabbed his wife at their house in Srinagar on Tuesday.

Police said that Lakshmana Gowda, who works as a laboratory technician in a polytechnic, was quarrelling with his wife Geetha, accusing her of infidelity.

On Tuesday, Geetha offered him a cup of tea. Stating that she had mixed poison in the tea, Gowda allegedly stabbed her in the neck with a knife, causing severe injury. Geetha's neighbours rushed her to a hospital, the police said. Hanumanthanagar police have registered a case and are on the lookout for Gowda.
