Many areas in Cherry Road, Anaimedu, Guhai, Maravaneri and Karunkalpati went without water.

A team of officials from the Corporation had already undertaken the repair work to plug the breach.

They said that the same would be completed this evening.

The areas falling under the jurisdictions of the overhead tanks at Guhai, Thongum Poonga and Karunkkalpatti in the city went without water.
