Krishnagiri: Ration cardholders who are LPG customers should register their connection details in the family cards between June 10 and 30, said the Collector, Santhosh Babu, here on Friday.

Similarly, cardholders who require LPG cylinders for the current month should produce the ration card and passbook for LPG connection with the agents concerned for registration. The district administration had appointed Revenue Inspectors for this purpose, he said.

Presently, 10 litres of kerosene was being supplied to cardholders in the district headquarters, 6 litres in municipalities, 5 litres in special panchayats and 3 litres in village panchayats.

"Kerosene is not supplied to cardholders who have two LPG cylinders. Due to this, several cardholders have not registered their LPG connection details in the ration cards and were receiving kerosene from the public distribution outlets in the district."

To prevent this, all cardholders had been asked to register their LPG connection details without fail.
