A lawyer and public prosecutor, 51-year-old
P. Nagarajan hails from Koilpalayam village, Coimbatore. After completing his higher secondary in the North Coimbatore Boys' Higher Secondary School, he went on to complete his bachelor of arts in geography in 1983 and bachelors in law from the Madras Law College in 1987. He was a public prosecutor from 2001 to 2006 and is one from 2011. He had also served as a Bar Council member from 2005 to 2010. On the political side, he had joined the AIADMK in 1989. In 1994, he was made the deputy secretary in Amma Peravai. And in 1994 he was made the secretary of the Coimbatore Rural District Lawyers’ Union – a position he held on till 2001. At present he is the party’s joint secretary in the Kavundampalayam constituency and district president of the lawyers’ union. His brother Kaliappan is a trade union leader and member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).
The panchayat president of the Moongiltholuvu Panchayat in Tirupur district, C.Mahendran hails from an agrarian family. He is into agriculture and transport business. He is the district joint secretary in the Tirupur district MGR Mandram. He holds a masters in economics from the P.S.G. Arts and Science College. His father Chinnasamy Gounder was also an AIADMK leader and a former vice-chairman of the Gudimangalam Panchayat Union.
The present chairperson of Gobichettipalayam Panchayat Union and secretary of the
AIADMK district women's wing (Erode Rural district), V. Sathyabhama(42) joined the AIADMK in 2001. Her husband, N. Vasu, a farmer, has been with the party since 1988. Ms. Sathyabhama became the Gobichettipalayam Municipal vice-chairperson in the same year she joined the party. A post graduate in Political Science, she is the daughter of M. Ayyasamy, the former dean of Forest College and Research Institute in Mettupalayam. Her father belongs to Bhavani and mother hails from Gobichettipalayam.
A Jayalalithaa loyalist, P. R. Sundaram (63) first contested on the 'Rooster' symbol in 1989 and won from the Rasipuram Assembly segment as a candidate of the Jayalalithaa faction of the ADMK. He was elected again as MLA of the same Assembly segment in 1996 and 2001. He, however, lost the Assembly election in 2006. Currently he is a District Panchayat Councillor, representing the Elachipalayam Panchayat Union. In the AIADMK he had held positions such as the Namagiripettai Union Secretary and the Namakkal District Secretary from 1997-2000.
A party loyalist from the days of former Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran,
V. Paneerselvam (59) is at present the party’s Salem City Deputy Secretary. He was a Councillor representing Ward 10 in Salem Corporation, from 2006-2011 and lost while contesting from the same ward in 2011. He is a lawyer and manages a cable network in Salem.

Fifty-two-year-old C.Gopalakrishnan, Chairman of the Coonoor Municipality, has been with the AIADMK for the past 32 years.
A student of the Arignar Anna Government Higher Secondary School in Coonoor and the Government Arts College in Ooty, Mr.Gopalakrishnan lives in Coonoor. His degrees include MA, M.Phil and LL.B.
Starting as a student wing secretary, he became the deputy sSecretary of the Nilgiris District MGR Youth Wing. In 2004, he became the AIADMK town secretary and later the Amma Peravai branch secretary.
Sixty-two-year-old P.S. Mohan, party’s lawyers’ wing district secretary, joined AIADMK when he was a student of Presidency College in Chennai.
He is a Government Pleader since 2011 in Dharmapuri District Court.
His father was an ex-serviceman.
K. Ashok Kumar
Sixty-one-year-old K. Ashok Kumar, an orator, is at present the chairman of the Krishnagiri District Panchayat. He is also the party’s district presidium president. He has completed Pre University Course (PUC).
The other offices he has held include Veppanahalli Panchayat Union joint secretary, union secretary in Veppanahalli Panchayat Union (Janaki faction)and president of the MGR Mandram.
He also held the
post of party's district secretary between 2004 and 2006.
Erode - Selvakumara Chinnaiyan
A lawyer by profession, 54-year-old Selvakumara Chinnaiyan, hails from an agrarian family based at Thattampalayam near Sivagiri in the district.
Mr. Chinnaiyan is currently the lawyers' wing secretary of the party's Erode urban unit.
He was a public prosecutor from 2001-2006.
Mr. Chinnaiyan stood by party leader Jayalalithaa when the AIADMK
suffered a split in 1989.
From 1980 to 2010,
he was the secretary of AIADMK's Thattampalayam unit.
