Canara Bank conducted a ‘lok adalat' for settlement and recovery of its non-performing asset (NPA) accounts here on Wednesday. The adalat, according to a Canara Bank press release, was conducted in the presence of N. Retnaraj, Principal District and Sessions Judge and chairman, Madurai Legal Services Authority. Borrowers utilised the opportunity provided at the meet for availing themselves of concessions in the settlement of their dues. Awards were passed for the accounts settled at the meet, which was organised by B. R. Balasunder, Deputy General Manager, and K. R. Balachandran, Assistant General Manager.
