A three-day regional-level livestock show would be organised at the Kamarajar Municipal School grounds, near Villupuram junction, from April 20, according to V. Sampath, Collector.

In a statement released here the Collector stated that the show to be organised under the aegis of the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) would feature 80 stalls displaying all aspects relating to the nuances of cattle breeding and pisciculture.

Besides giving technical inputs on these aspects, including how to take care of pet animals, a couple of veterinary doctors would be available at each stall to clear the doubts of the cattle breeders and the general public.

A dog show would be held on April 21 in which prizes would be given to the local breeds.
