ERODE: The KMCH Speciality Hospital, Erode, will conduct a marathon race on September 30, the World Heart Day, to create awareness on heart diseases.

In a release, the hospital authorities stated that the marathon race would begin from the hospital at 7.30 a.m. and after covering 10 km it would culminate at the hospital itself.

Students from Vellalar College for Women, Nandha Educational Institutions, Kongu Vellalar Educational Institutions, Navarasam College, Erode Sengunthar Educational Institutions and P.K.R. Arts and Science College, Gobichettipalayam, and doctors and employees of KMCH would participate, the release said.

Correspondent of Vellalar College for Women S.D. Chandrasekar would inaugurate the event and Chairman and Managing Director of KMCH Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami would distribute certificates and awards to the winners.
