The district administration has geared up official machinery to ensure free and fair polling.
The by-elections would be held for the post of councillors at ward 6 in Anjugramam town panchayat, ward 4 in Thengampudhur town panchayat, ward 12 in Palappallam town panchayat and ward 1 (woman candidate) in Kumarankudi village panchayat.
