Udhagamandalam: A two-day national seminar on ‘Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Practice and Education’ will be organised by the J.S.S.College of Pharmacy here on May 2 and 3.
According to the Principal, B.Suresh, the former President, A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, will inaugurate the seminar.
Mr.Kalam will also deliver the first JSS Mahavidyapeetha Distinguished Lecture. The guest of honour will be the Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, P.S.Prabhakaran.
Several experts from India and abroad will discuss and deliver talks on nanotechnology, biotechnology, pharmacopeial standards, concepts of pharmacy practice and quality assurance in pharmacy education.
During the course of the seminar, the Association of Pharmacy Colleges in India is likely to be formed.
