International meet on lymphoma

Amid evidence of an increasing incidence of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL), caused by abnormalities in blood cells, oncologists and pathologists will get into a huddle at an international meet beginning here on Saturday to discuss ways to tackle one of the more common cancers seen in the State.

Several national and international experts are participating in the two-day ‘Lymphoma Update 2013-International Symposium on Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma,’ which is hosted by the Department of Medical Oncology and Pathology as part of the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Cancer Institute.
