Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Tuesday inaugurated the State Resource Centre for Inclusive Education, an integrated facility for children with disability.

The centre that has been established at a cost of Rs.46.42 lakh on a renovated building of Chennai Corporation in Santhome in the city offers a range of facilities, a press release issued on Wednesday said.

Ms. Jayalalithaa also inaugurated through video conferencing additional infrastructure provided at 91 high and higher secondary and new buildings of six model schools, two elementary education offices, two government teachers’ training institutes and two district libraries.
