Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology, in collaboration with The Hindu, organised ‘Inspire ‘13’, to help Plus-Two students make the right higher education and career choices.

The event was inaugurated by the institute’s founder-chairman Pongalur N. Palanisamy.

Experts like P. Sujith Kumar, location head, HR, Infosys, Sathish, recipient of the Best Teacher Award – 2006, and N. Raj Mohan, behavioural scientist, Bodhi, among others, inspired and guided the students.

The students were asked to have a specific vision to choose the right career and follow the ‘PQRST’ technique (Preview, Question, Reading, Stating, Testing) to improve their performance.

They also took a psychometric test offered by Bodhi. More than 1,500 students from 86 schools attended the event. A pavilion showcasing articles and pictures from The Hindu archives was also put up at the event.
