Puthiya Tamizhagam founder K. Krishnasamy on Tuesday said there was no need to divide the composition of the drafting committee for the proposed Lokpal Bill on the lines of caste, creed and religion.

However, it would be better if representatives of different sections of society were included in the committee, Dr. Krishnasamy told reporters.

He said his party would take steps to make the campaign against corruption a people's movement.

The PT leader said the Election Commission, which had done a commendable job in the State in containing money power, had, however, loosened its grip in the last few days before the day of polling.
