: Personnel of Tiruchi rural district Home Guards garnered glory at the 24th State-level industrial skill and sports meet held at Tirunelveli for three days recently.
The Tiruchi rural district unit team won gold in women’s kabaddi event. They won gold in men’s 200 metre event, silver medals in the individual shooting contest and 4 x 100 m relay race.
R. Lalitha Lakshmi, Superintendent of Police, A. L. Sirajudeen, area commander of Tiruchi rural district Home Guards, Muthulama Devi, deputy area commander and others felicitated members of the team.
