Hockey tourney winners felicitated

Collector Ashish Kumar presented the trophy to the winners of the All India Major Ports Hockey Tournament at a valedictory programme held at Port School grounds here on Thursday evening.

V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust, Tuticorin, clinched the title after defeating Kolkata Port Trust by one goal.

The score was 1 – 0 at full time, according to a statement. Mr. Kumar, the chief guest, congratulated the winners on the occasion. S. Natarajan, Chairman, VOC Port, presided over the programme.
