Coimbatore: As part of its initiative to tap the rural market, the Maruti Suzuki organised a “Gramin Mahotsav” at Pollachi in Coimbatore district recently.

It was organised in association with its marketing partner ABT Maruti at Pollachi. G.P. Chadha along with General Manager, Sales and Service of ABT Maruti Limited, S. Rajendra Boopathy handed over the keys for 30 vehicles to the buyers from the rural market. Mr.Chadha said that “a large number of rural affluent people aspire to own a car and Maruti has taken best possible efforts to make their dreams of owning a car come true.”

Gramin initiative had helped in improve its rural presence and the initiatives included special extension counters with sales and service facilities in rural locations, dedicated rural marketing team to provide personalised services to rural customers, attractive sales scheme exclusively for rural customers. Company had tied-up with national as well as regional banks and non-banking financial players to finance its rural customers.
