Girl kidnapped

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by a gang of three persons at Kangayam on Tuesday evening.

Police sources said as per a complaint, the girl was kidnapped for marrying one of the kidnappers.

The Kangayam police are further investigating.

Theft

Some unidentified persons allegedly took away 800 pieces of apparels from a unit at Rayapuram in the city.

The Tirupur North police are investigating.
