CHENNAI: The second day of The Hindu Education Plus Fair 2006 will offer some exciting insight into how freshers can get themselves equipped for jobs.

Experts from Ma Foi and Bodhi, two organisations involved in human resources consultancy will make the presentation in the morning at 10 a.m.

College students and fresh graduates can attend the seminar being organised at the Centenary auditorium of the University of Madras.

The afternoon session will offer students a fair idea of some of the offbeat options starting with aviation as a career the presentations to be made by a veteran pilot, Captain A. Ranganathan and Chennai Airport Director Dinesh Kumar.

The other offbeat careers that will feature at the fair are animation and graphics, business process outsourcing, and foreign languages.

Each of these exciting 40-minute sessions will provide tips for students to decide on their career.

Entry for the fair is free.

An added advantage is the presence of over 60 stalls put up by professional colleges, trainers, HR consultants and foreign education providers/facilitators.

The Indian Bank is among the financial institutions that will provide information to students on educational loanfacilities available for various career paths.
