CUDDALORE: Fifteen differently abled persons will undergo free training on mobile phone repair at Krishnasamy Memorial Polytechnic College here, according to Collector P. Seetharaman.

He was participating in the jamabandhi session held at the taluk office here on Monday. Mr. Seetharaman said that besides free training for a period of three months, the candidates would also be given a monthly incentive of Rs. 300 each.

The Collector distributed motorised tricycles, each worth Rs. 4,100, to 30 differently abled persons.

He also distributed free spectacles sponsored by the District Blindness Control Society and disbursed loans of Rs. 5.91 lakh to 12 beneficiaries for starting self-help ventures.

Differently abled Persons' Welfare Officer Srinivasan, TAHDCO Manager Tulasidharan and tahsildar Dakshinamurthy were present.
