Over 260 persons from Aruvankadu and surroundings benefited from a

medical camp conducted by the Aruvankadu Badaga Association (ABA) along with the Nakku Betta Ilam Badagar Peravai (NIBP) and the PSG hospital at Aruvankadu on Sunday.

The Secretary of the ABA, T.K. Ramakrishnan, said that distribution of basic medicines free of cost marked the occasion. Many became aware of their diabetes and hypertension status.

Those requiring special attention were referred to Coimbatore. The President, NIBP, K.B. Bojan said that efforts were on to bring a multi-speciality hospital at Gottacombai near Kotagiri.

Among the participants were Ramamurty, Principal, PSG Physiotherapy College.
