MADURAI: India Post, along with Centurion Bank of Punjab, has introduced foreign exchange services in Madurai and Nagercoil head post offices from Tuesday.

The Director of Postal Services (Southern Region), Sushil Kumar, launched the scheme at the Madurai Head Post Office. India Post, which has a full-fledged money changing licence, has authorised post offices to undertake money changing business. The service would be extended to more head post offices soon. The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Madurai Division, S. Ramamurthy, and the Senior Post Master, Madurai Head Post Office, Baskar, were present.
