MADURAI: For those who want to be `Be Your Own Unique Self,' and desire to look beautiful, just drop in at Art Karat jewellery exhibition at Fortune Pandyan Hotel.
It displays the latest range of designer jewellery bound to steal hearts of women. More importantly the designs vary not only to suit women's attire but also to their mood.
The exhibits of world-renowned jewellery designer, Asha Kamal Modi, include necklaces, long earrings, bracelets, bangles, rings and judis.
The jewellery made of silver dipped in gold, studded with colourful and semi precious stones such as coral, citrine, amythest, lapis-lazuli, tirmuline, rose quartz, turquoise, white and yellow sapphires, zercuns and pearls provides a real feast to the eyes.
The necklaces are available in the price range of Rs.3,000 to Rs.20,000 while the earrings and bangles are priced between Rs.2,500 and above Rs.7,000. The exquisite collection of jewellery of the exhibition is a collection of classic designs that are combination of Victorian and traditional style, said Rajeev Sharma, manager.
The exhibition boasts of a wide variety of both classic and contemporary designs to adorn a woman from head to toe and strive to create jewellery for occasions. The collection derives its inspiration from many sources among them are the temples of Khajuraho, kingdoms of Rajasthan, Mughals and the everlasting era of Indian cinema, Mr. Sharma said.
The collection has been showcased in more than 10 bollywood blockbusters, including `Devadas,' `Monsoon Wedding,' `Kamasutra' and `Zubeida.' Every piece produced is unique and different in style, craftsmanship and mood, made to perfection. There would be no repetition of designs, said Mr. Sharma and added the they also offer a lifetime warranty for free polishing and repairs.
The three-day exhibition will be held at Fortune Pandyan Hotel till February 7.
