SALEM: Collector J Chandrakumar has asked the cardholders for whom the supply of essential commodities has been suspended following the verification exercise on family cards to approach District and Taluk Supply Officers on or before March 28 to get their grievances redressed.

A release said that the administration had found that a few cardholders had left their present addresses without informing the officials concerned. Many had changed their localities. Hence the supply of commodities against these cards had been withheld from February 26.

But to provide them the rations, it had been decided to resume the supply and maintain the same till March 28. By then the cardholders should approach the officials and file appeals.
